Lake of the Woods Houseboat Rentals & Water Trailer Park, Ontario are located 90 miles north of the Canada/US Border 40 miles south of Kenora, Ontario on Highway 71. Just four miles north of Sioux Narrows, Ontario, Canada on Laughing Water Road.

It is necessary a previous experience with houseboats. Feel free to ask any questions. An instruction manual on standard operating procedures is provided. You must be 25 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license to drive the houseboat.

A license to drive the houseboats is required. Similarly, hunting and fishing also require license permits. All non-residents of Canada require a current non-resident sports fishing license to fish in Ontario. If you wish to obtain your Pleasure Craft Operator Card you can do so on line. For more details:

Each houseboat has a generator to supply electricity for small appliances.

What to Bring

You can reserve bedding packages. The linen packages include: 2 flat sheets, 3 towels and 3 cleaning cloths: blankets, pillows and pillow cases are provided.

The average cost per rental is $ 150.00. You have access to fuel for your fishing boats. All prices are quoted in Canadian funds and do not include taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice. Be sure to reserve your extra rental items in advance, as we cannot guarantee that they will be available upon your arrival unless they are reserved. You will be responsible for payment of all items reserved.
