Experience Required
Previous experience is not required. So if it is your first time don’t worry someone from the staff can accompany you the first few miles of your trip and he will provide instruction on operating the houseboat and safety requirements and with the reading of the navigational charts. You must be 25 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license to drive the houseboat.
Licensing
You do not require a boating license (Pleasure Craft Operator Card) to rent a houseboat. Prior to departure you will be provided a safety checklist for review. Be sure to ask any questions if you are not sure. Once completed you will be issued a temporary license that is good for your trip. You will need to keep this document readily available if request by officials.

Electrical Outlets
All houseboats have a 5500 watt generator so there is a 110v outlet that can power small appliances like laptops, dvds, tvs, microwave and other machines.

The beds are solid and feature excellent quality mattresses for a restful night's sleep. So you don’t have to worry about bringing your own bed sheets.
