Tamar Cottage & Houseboats is located in Ontario on Lake Temagami, they offer both summer vacations and winter expeditions. They offer Vacation Cottages, Cabin Rentals, Ice Huts, On Ice Bungalows and Houseboat Rentals for your fishing, exploration, adventure and relaxation needs. In Tamar Cottage & Houseboats there is a central T-dock with two canopies to relax waterside or move up to a large upper sitting area. Tamar Island has horseshoe pits, bocce ball, large open grass areas and an island pine trail. The company also offers a public dining facility with BBQ, fridge, water and counter top for multi cottage guests. The harbor has a fish cleaning station, workshops, wet boat house and utility docks.

Houseboats
Tamar Cottage & Houseboats offers simple but beautiful houseboats, each houseboat includes:

Rental Periods
Daily or weekly but all the Houseboats must be docked at Tamar by 8:30am Friday morning. Prices are almost the same the entire year so don’t worry (weekdays are cheap)
Experience Required
Experience is required. Traffic on the lake is minimal, especially on the South Arm, allowing you to enjoy your houseboat vacation in peace. As well, an instruction manual on standard operating procedures is provided. You must be 25 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license to drive the houseboat.
Licensing
You must have your Boating License so make sure you bring it. Be sure to ask any questions if you have any doubts.

Electrical Outlets
For a little extra money, you can rent a generator to power small appliances (110V outlet).

Pets
Pets are allowed. Paying $90.00 per dog regardless of period you stay because the cleaning will be necessary.
