Tamar Cottage & Houseboats offers simple but beautiful houseboats, each houseboat includes:

Historical — not a current offer. Daily or weekly but all the Houseboats must be docked at Tamar by 8:30am Friday morning. Prices are almost the same the entire year so don’t worry (weekdays are cheap)

Experience is required. Traffic on the lake is minimal, especially on the South Arm, allowing you to enjoy your houseboat vacation in peace. As well, an instruction manual on standard operating procedures is provided. You must be 25 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license to drive the houseboat.

You must have your Boating License so make sure you bring it. Be sure to ask any questions if you have any doubts.

For a little extra money, you can rent a generator to power small appliances (110V outlet).

Don’t forget to bring your documents, credit card and your license and a sleeping bag.

Pillows and linens are not included. If you require them contact Tamar Houseboats for availability.

Pets are allowed. Paying $90.00 per dog regardless of period you stay because the cleaning will be necessary.
