About This Company

Constructed with the comfort in mind and the possibility to give the best experience for the guest, the resort features contemporary log cabins each one of them with a breathtaking lake view, comfortable double and single beds, linens, three-piece bath, towels, hot and cold running water, full fridge and freezer, stove, pots, pans, microwave, coffee maker (coffee supplied) lawn chairs and a BBQ on the deck and of course two fully equipped House Boats that will take you anywhere on the lake.

Additionally, at Dog Lake Resort, the seasonal RV camping can be the most enjoyable mean to spend economical family time and take pleasure in the great outdoors.

Dog Lake Resort is located a short 2-hour Scenic drive from the U.S border crossing at Pigeon River. Pigeon River is Located 3 hours North of Duluth Minn.

If you are using a StreetPilot or a similar device just punch in 2320 Dawson Rd, and it will direct you to Recreation World RV. Once there follow Dog Lake Road to the end.

Houseboats

There are two beautiful House Boats for your pleasure:

Party Girl

44 ft. Deluxe 3-bouys Houseboat
Rooftop Patio and slide - Sleeps up to 10 people

Happy Camper

36 ft. Houseboat
Rooftop Patio - Sleeps 4-8 people

Both of the house boats have everything you will need:

Fully equipped kitchen.
Dishes
Pots 'n pans.
Cooking utensils.
Coffee maker.
3 and 4-pc baths.
Linens/blankets
Towels
BBQ's
Marine radio
16 ft. boat and motor.

Rental Periods

Minimum 3 night rental on all houseboats and cabins.

Experience Required

A little of previous experience is required. You must be 25 years of age or older and hold a valid driver’s license to drive the houseboat.

Licensing

You require a boating license (Pleasure Craft Operator Card) to rent a houseboat. Prior to departure you will be provided a safety checklist for review. Be sure to ask any questions if you are not sure.

Linens

Pillows and sheets are provided except of course for the RV camps. However you should bring your pillows and bed sheets.

Pets

Owners of pets are responsible for any damages caused.
You must pick up after your pet.
All dogs must be leashed.

Additional Costs

There are a few additional costs that you should consider during your vacation and will depend on the duration of your trip and the distance traveled like the fuel and the taxes.

Entry to/From U.S.

Certain goods are restricted from entering Canada. If you are considering importing meat or dairy products, weapons, plants, vehicles, or exotic animals or products made from their skins or feathers, please contact Canada Customs beforehand for guidance.
Firearms are strictly controlled and many are not permitted in Canada.
